The North American Agave Council (NAAC) a leading voice for the agave industry across the United States and North America. We are proud to champion the agave plant as a powerful, sustainable resource with vast potential across food, beverage, wellness, and manufacturing sectors. 

Our mission is simple but impactful: to elevate agave's role in today’s marketplace while advocating for smart policy, fostering innovation, and educating both industry professionals and the public on its health and environmental benefits. Through our signature initiative, Got Agave!, we promote agave as a natural, healthier alternative that aligns with modern consumer demands. 

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., NAAC works year-round to influence legislation, shape regulatory frameworks, and represent the industry in national and international trade discussions. From supporting agave production and processing to protecting the integrity of agave-based products, we serve as the industry’s advocate at the highest levels. 

Our diverse membership includes agave growers, processors, distributors, and key partners across allied industries. Together, our members represent a significant share of North America’s agave supply chain and drive innovation from farm to shelf. 

NAAC offers three membership categories, providing opportunities for involvement at every level of the industry. We also host a variety of educational programs, events, and advocacy campaigns designed to advance knowledge, support members, and expand market opportunities.
