At the North American Agave Council (NAAC), we believe that collaboration fuels progress. Our Committees and Working Groups are designed to harness the collective expertise of our members to advance the strategic vision of NAAC—supporting the entire agave supply chain from production to consumer, with a strong focus on advocacy, sustainability, and innovation. 

These dynamic groups offer members the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of the agave industry across North America. Together, we tackle the most pressing issues and opportunities facing our sector—making sure the agave voice is heard loud and clear where it matters most. 

Standing Committees – United for Progress 

NAAC’s Standing Committees focus on critical, cross-supply chain issues where a unified, strategic voice can drive real change. These committees serve as the engine of our advocacy efforts, guiding the direction of our initiatives and forming targeted working groups when needed. 

U.S. Policy Committee
Driving impact at the national level, this committee leads the charge on public policy matters affecting the U.S. agave market. It shapes and recommends legislative and regulatory strategies to protect and grow our industry.

Grassroots & Engagement Committee – Got Agave! In Action 

This committee energizes our grassroots advocacy and engagement programs, including the Got Agave! campaign. Market Sector Issue Forums – Where Ideas Thrive 

These forums are vibrant spaces for members with shared market interests—such as Grower-Shippers, Processors, Distributors, Retailers, and Foodservice professionals—to connect, collaborate, and drive innovation. Whether you're a veteran or just starting out, your insights are welcome and valuable.
